curry + ramen

curry ramen

i've been forgoing the ramen at the grocery store in favor of
ramen from our neighborhood's indian grocer. it's so much
more spicy and flavorful, plus i can pronounce all of the
ingredients. and for the same cheap price, it's become one
of my favorite quick and easy lunches.

i also really like the masala vegetable atta noodles, too:

earth fare has some interesting varieties as well,
and obviously i'm an instant ramen connoisseur
these days.

  1. so this is what Americans mean when they talk about Ramen! I just call that instant noodles, Ramen for me is a thicker, flatter, linguine-type rice noodle that you have to actually cook your own sauce with. I always wondered why people thought ramen was a cheap and easy meal!
