smattering of what i usually offer. i've
been getting lots of convos concerning
whether i'll be offering my usual - bubble
berets, cowls, etc - and the answer is, YES!
i hope to be back with ready made items and
some brand new designs, too on cyber monday!
or at least sometime very soon after.

i usually never pay so much for a dress, but i pulled this
one off the racks at hip replacements and wanted to try
it on immediately. the weight of the fabric and twirl of
the skirt and the finished red/white candy striped seams
sold me.

i've always wanted one of these mickey mouse
sweaters and have had at least a dozen of them
make their way through my etsy favorites.
mickey holds a special spot since he reminds
me of summers spent at our grandparents
house while our parents worked and our retired
pa taught us his step by step method to draw
the perfect mickey which was more steamboat
willie than the rounder shinier mickey we have
today. when i saw this one in the shop of one of my
favorite bloggers/remixers, mamushka marie, i
finally decided to take the plunge. also, my big
black bow headband which is invisible against
my equally dark hair has spurred a new interest
in frilly hair accessories i've never had before.

changes
hi all! wanted to announce that on next wednesday, november 18th, you'll be
seeing a very abbreviated version of my shop as i switch from doing made to
order/wait 12 days items to having ready made goods to buy and ship
immediately. i just don't want to get behind on my orders around the holidays
and have people missing christmas presents and being upset and disappointed,
so i think this way might work best! also, i'm going to be doing three holiday
indie shows (one for each weekend of december!) and need time to whip up
items for those as well. and not to mention my baby nephew who'll be making his
first appearance round the holidays, too. it's a busy time of year! on the other hand,
i will be having a few pairs of these new handwarmers that i made up a few weeks
ago ready to go in the shop during the switchover.

discontinued - for now
a few days ago when i was attempting to make sure i was
fully stocked in yarn and supplies i found out that the light
purple yarn i use to make these cowls has been discontinued.
luckily i think i have plenty in my stash to make all of the
ones that have been ordered, but i removed the listings for
all of the others. i'm currently in the process of ordering
yarns for replacements - they'll be the same colors - but
i'm hoping to upgrade them from acrylic to something
nicer like a nice soft wool or wool blend. they'll be out of my
shop for a week or so, but as soon as i find what i'm looking
for they'll be back ASAP!
