i am trying to simplify my
wardrobe, purging trendy
regretful things, but it is
so hard to get rid of things
even if it's going to goodwill.
i always think i could use the
fabric to make something else
or that it might be useful
somehow. would it be worth it
to try selling on ebay? time
and effort, too, i guess.
if you can get a start on it, ebay would be awesome. i have said this too for a very long time (at least 3 yrs) with loads of packed suitcases full of old clothes i'll never have use for. they are still sitting here. so i'm going to give them away finally this month. just purge. if the item doesn't sell in 10 days, donate.

ack, i can see where you're coming from. my room is a disaster because of this. i'll try to rationalize keeping something i don't like so much by thinking it might grow on me. or how i'm so reluctant to get rid of fabric scraps just in case they can be used for some sort of patchwork project.
